Wetland tour

1. We saw the area a little ways behind the wetland where there are lots or crocus’s that blume
2. We look at the the sign that we have has you walk into the wetland
3. You talked about how the cray fish are blue because the water is so hard
4. There are many never never loges
5. We have some painted turtles in the wetland

Most important thing in a wetland To me the most important thing in a wetland is carbon dioxide mitigation. The reason I chose carbon mitigation is because it helps keep a lot of CO2 out the air and slow down globe warming. The reason the wetlands help cut down the amount of CO2 that ends up in our atmosphere is because of all the plant that are in our watland like trees, reeds, cat tales, Bushes, shrubs, and many more different kinds of plant. So if it wasn’t for the wetlands then we would probably end up have way more CO2 in the atmosphere making global warming speed up even faster than it is now.

Canoeing day 1

today when we went canoeing we learn how to do some different strokes like the J stroke which is used by the person in the back of the canoe to help to keep it going sraight. We learned how to brake and how to do a 360. Jack talked about 1 10 1, this is the saying used for when you go in to cold water, the first 1 means that there is one minute of hyper ventilating the 10 means you have 10 minuets to get to shore and the second 1 means you have one hour to get your self warm. Jack also talked about what sweepers and strainers are and how they are dangerous and how we could avoid them and what we could do if we got caught in them.
